The Muthesius University of Art and Design in Kiel is Germany‘s northernmost independent art and design university with degrees in Fine Arts, Spacial Strategies, Communication Design and Industrial Design on Bachelor (BFA Industrial Design) and Master level (MFA Interface Design and MFA Medical Design). The City of Kiel is a unique place, for both its geographical location as a port city on the Baltic Sea as well as being a center for Marine Science, Medical and Life Science and the home of the Institute for the World Economy. Building on this tradition of technological innovation and scientific research, the industrial design course at the Muthesius University of Art and Design aims to push forward global industrial design, human-oriented technology and sustainable future scenarios. In diverse professional contexts graduates stand out for their ability to propose, develop and promote positive and far-reaching socio-cultural change.
