Volta is a lightweight, portable farming tool designed for manual use on small-scale farms.

Farmers in the Peruvian Andes face considerable difficulties as the vertical terrain, difficulty in transport and low profitability does not allow for the use of machinery or automation. Cultivation and harvest are carried out manually using traditional tools, while the workforce are comprised mostly of elderly men and women as young people migrate to mining or into the urban centres. Volta allows these farmers to work the land with less time and effort, the tool folding into a neat backpack for easy transportation.
