Resonate is a musical table designed to strengthen the interaction between people by generating a new form of language.

The table is equipped with responsive surface that utilizes touch as an input for sound, allowing users to collaborate with one another to 'sculpt' their own audio experience. This encourages participants to touch and engage with one another through music, a universal form of expression. Resonate’s interactive surface introduces a unique system: conductive ink is silkscreened on the table's wave-form top; as the user plays with this irregular surface, music is generated then released through the built-in speakers. This project explores user's senses through common intuition. It can be configured to play piano notes or custom sounds, transforming furniture into a new means of expression.
