Automated Ventilator transport

Ventilators must be cleaned by technicians between each use and stored in tailored rooms at hospitals. The repeated travel consumes valuable staff time, shortens the machine's lifespan and makes for an uneven use of the stock. . Following research with Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, Mpulse Team developed an automated guided vehicle for transporting ventilators, using off-the-shelf hardware and software, tailored to the hospital environment. It automatically returns equipment to cleaning rooms without human interaction.
