Dystopian Places is a collection of wearable devices that simulate environmental problems.
These simulations are designed to provide a direct, personal experience with the dangers of pollution and climate change. For example, ater hypoxia, a condition xxxxxx, is simulated by a mask that restricts airflow to its wearer. To begin, the user selects from a map of badly polluted areas. The mask then reduces available oxygen, effectively simulating the experience of fish living that area.
