The Bath Boat is a toy that aims to reduce the amount of water used during children’s bath-times. With the National Health Service recommending that parents bathe their child every day, and most parents running a bath of approximately 70–75 litres (a half-full tub), the UK could be wasting as much as 200 million litres per day. The Bath Boat is a toy that operates like a water gate, slotting into the bathtub to reduce its size. This enables the baby plenty of space to get clean and play, while preserving a large portion of water that would otherwise be wasted. The Bath Boat introduces children to the importance of water conservation, encouraging new habits for consumption.
