Specs Modular Glasses

About

Modular, recyclable glasses

Spec Modular Glasses is a new, more customizable and less wasteful approach to eyeglasses. The project is inspired by the vast number of American teenagers who require corrective lenses but refuse to wear them. Spec Modular Glasses aim to improve both the fashion and function of conventional glasses, making them more desirable. The Spec is completely modular, making frames less expensive to manufacture, simpler to fit to multiple face shapes, more robust, and inexpensive to customise. By changing the conversation around vision care for teenagers, Spec Modular Glasses make eyeglasses a creative and stylish accessory, instead of an unwanted medical device.
