Sleeping at the Airport is a response to the difficulties airports encounter whilst coping with emergencies and accommodating people who have excessively long layovers. Based on analysis of long stay scenarios and the eco-systems already present within transitional spaces, Sleeping at the Airport proposes an emergency bed system that is easy to transport and store, in order to provide relief to those forced to spend a night in transit.
