The Sense Glucose Earring is a non-invasive blood glucose monitor revolutionising how patients manage type 1 diabetes. The earring requires a single lobe piercing. It incorporates safe high-frequency radio-waves that penetrate through the lobe and provide data on the characteristics of the blood without the need for blood samples, thus reducing medical waste. The device is discreet and can be personalised, whilst encouraging frequent testing. It comes with a portable charging case and uses re-chargeable batteries. The device APP helps the user share their data, analyse trends and generally help manage the condition.
