Rihla is an Augmented Reality gaming system to aid in the early identification of learning disabilities and prompt a conversation between parents and teachers to help children get support as early as possible.
Children would use Rihla to play several games designed to test specific skills over a few weeks. The gaming system would then flag students who consistently struggle with a skill or skills and generate an analysis of a possible learning disability associated with that skill. The child’s parents and teacher would receive a summarized report of their performance indicating areas of poor performance.
