Mamay is a remote control which takes into consideration the specific needs of elderly people who suffer from motor disability or impairment. The design incorporates a control cross inspired by gaming joysticks and a voice-activated button, to perform more complex tasks such as adjust luminosity or change channels. The same remote could also be adapted to be used in other daily routines, such as controlling air conditioning units.
