Flow is a platform that enables child patients to create musical tracks from sounds they capture in their hospital environment. Using three separate components - a bracelet, music box and app - the child can transform seemingly nonmusical sounds into engaging rhythms. The bracelet enables users to collect the audio, the music box to compose and mix their universe of sounds, and the app encourages them to share their tracks in an online community. Flow provides a new way to reduce feelings of isolation among hospital-bound children by inspiring creative interactions with other patients as well as creative engagement with their environment.
