Fellow is a medical product that tracks the fever of children between one and four years old. The device includes three interconnected components: a wearable cloth, an app, and a bedside lamp. The child wears the cloth on her shoulders while she sleeps. The cloth relays bodily information to the parents’ app, warning them before a fever can reach its critical point. The app also serves as an archive of the child’s illness and treatment, creating a tool for simple communication between doctor and parent. Meanwhile, the bedside lamp soothes and comforts the child in times of illness by filling his room with relaxing colors and symbols. By combining technology with care, Fellow stimulates a therapeutic, connected environment for the treatment of fever in children.
