Embrace

About

A cochlear implant is a surgically implanted neuroprosthetic device that provides a sense of sound to a person with moderate to profound nonneural hearing loss.

Embrace is a product for improving the daily lives of hearing impaired 5-8 year old children using cochlear implants. Embrace consists of two parts: a modular hearing aid for various daily activities, and a multipurpose dock for various needs of both the hearing aid and the child while at home. The headband, clothing clips and the neck arm accessories allows the hearing aid to be suitable for its demanding tasks during a child’s daily life. Meanwhile, the dock at home brings together the clutter of items of a hearing aid person.
