“Do You Know Your Kitchen?”

About

Misconceptions about food preparation and storage, often rooted in tradition, lead to waste and unhealthy habits.

Project “Do You Know Your Kitchen?” explores home kitchen practices and identifies prepping, cooking, cleaning and storing solutions that lead to a healthier and more environmentally friendly diet. The project encompasses an application that details food data and nutritional values and a recipe generator to tackle the issue of food waste. One of its motivations is to clarify the implications of cooking practices passed down for generations (and therefore rarely challenged).
