Apply to Global Grad Show and your project could be selected as a top global innovation for our upcoming 2022 exhibition.

Applicants also have the opportunity to join the Global Grad Show Entrepreneurship Programme, which offers startup training, acceleration, and funding to support projects from idea to market.

Who can apply?

Participation is free and open to students from all universities around the world. If you are currently researching and developing a project in any discipline that offers a solution to problems faced by people, communities, or the planet, we encourage you to apply.

Selection Criteria

Projects are chosen based on:

  • Originality in problem solving

  • Positive impact on people, communities, or the planet

  • Application of (high or low) tech or innovative methods to achieve results

How to Apply

In the link below, fill in the application form and upload a document outlining:

  • Name of the project, participating students, and their contact details

  • Explanation of the project, how it works, and the problem it solves

  • Visual materials that help explain the project, including images, diagrams or illustrations

  • Links to any available videos or demos

2022 Programme

  • Global Grad Show

    100 of the top innovations will be selected and promoted through a global media campaign. (See press coverage here)

  • Each project will be featured on the Global Grad Show website along with a short film on each graduate. (See example here)

  • MENA Grad Show

    University students in the Middle East and North Africa applying for Global Grad Show will also have the chance to attend and showcase their projects in the MENA Grad Show, a physical exhibition held during Dubai Design Week.

  • Entrepreneurship Programme

    Every submission will be invited to take part in the multi-phased entrepreneurship programme, dedicated to graduates who want to take their projects to market.

  • Selected participants can enter an Accelerator Programme, receiving training and mentorship from leading entrepreneurs and venture-builders, as well as interact with industry experts. Teams also have the opportunity to pitch to investors, including A.R.M. Holding, who pledged an AED 10 million fund for startups.
