Organico

About

A new material for carbon-neutral furniture

Organico is a new material made entirely from hemp, casein and lime. Combining traditional, renewable materials in an innovative ‘sandwich’ structure, the product offers a wide range of design possibilities as it can be formed into a variety of three-dimensional objects. It is strong, lightweight, naturally antibacterial and fungicidal, and uses a carbon-neutral manufacturing technique. It can also be recycled at the end of its life cycle and turned into fertiliser.
