Looking Without Seeing

Looking Without Seeing is a wearable device that enables visually-impaired users to detect obstacles and plan routes.

Using the technology of a low-cost radar, the device is an affordable improvement on the common white cane. The radar can detect obstacles up to three meters ahead and frees the use of both hands in case the user trips or falls. In addition, an integrated GPS navigational system provides an audible guide to any selected destination. Looking Without Seeing supplies visually-impaired users the tools to navigate their environment with confidence.
