About

A wireless sensor for pediatric tests

Ema is a wireless device that allows electrocardiogram (ECG) tests to be performed on children in an unobtrusive way. Current ECG testing involves a large amount of wires, making the process time-consuming for doctors and sometimes upsetting for children. Ema reduces the testing equipment to ten, coin-sized sensors, synchronised to a central receiver. The sensors come in an array of bright colours, and allow the ECG test to be turned into a game.
