Cook&Feel is a collection of kitchen aids designed to ease the cooking process for the blind. The collection is made up of four parts. Touch&Know is a set of adhesive supports that when attached to the stove allow the easy location and use of tactile controls. Hot&Safe is a set of frying pans with a protective rim to avoid burns and an integrated stand to stop damage to work surfaces. Dose&Pour is a fixed dosing cap to accurately measure quantities of liquid. Cling&Drink is an audio-equipped spoon that will ‘clong’ when a liquid is too hot and ‘cling’ when it’s cool enough to consume. The Cook&Feel collection affords the visually-impaired user both the confidence and safety that mainstream products cannot, improving their everyday experiences in the kitchen.
